Social Media Intern
AM Group is seeking a Social Media Intern to join our Fayetteville team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic marketing firm while supporting multiple client accounts.
The Social Media Intern will contribute to a range of tasks, including content creation, community management, photo and video capture, reporting, and research, all aimed at executing effective client strategies.
This is a paid, part-time role with approximately 24 hours per week across three days, and a minimum three-month commitment.

What You'll Do
Draft copy for social media posts, captions, and stories across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create engaging, on-brand messaging.
Schedule and publish content using social media management tools. Monitor posting calendars and flag gaps or opportunities.
Capture photo and video content on-site at client locations and events, and assist with light editing for social use.
Engage with client communities, including responding to comments and messages and monitoring brand mentions.
Track social performance metrics and assist in preparing recaps and reports for clients.
Conduct research on platform trends, trending audio, competitors, and creator and influencer opportunities. Assist in gathering insights to inform social strategy.
Support internal teams in delivering client services, including campaign coordination, asset organization, and tracking project timelines.
Provide support in preparing presentations, reports, and meeting materials as needed.
Requirements
Currently pursuing, or have earned, a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field.
Strong writing and editing skills, with attention to detail and an ear for brand voice.
Working knowledge of major social platforms and a genuine interest in how they evolve.
Comfort shooting photo and video on a smartphone; experience with editing apps such as CapCut, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Proficiency in Google Workspace; familiarity with scheduling or analytics tools (e.g., Later, Sprout Social, Metricool, Meta Business Suite) is a plus.
Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Reliable transportation for occasional on-site content capture.
